Happy harvest! Hayfork Farmer’s Market producer Ryan will review this garden year, talk about how we can prepare our garden for success next year, and tell us how to make a system of sustainability in our garden and in the greater Hayfork Valley. How perfect for this season and place!
Additionally, local chefs Ken and Gail will give us innovative ways to put our garden bounty to use, making a seasonally appropriate soup for everyone to share throughout the evening.
Bruce Gardiner will give a presentation of his work at Northern Delights Coffee Shop in Hayfork on Tuesday, September 17th at 7PM. He has been bringing Renewable Energy to communities in the developing world. Bruce has spent much of the last 6 years touring the globe, introducing people to Photovoltaics (solar electricity), solar cooking, solar hot water and improved biomass cook stoves. Countries visited so far include Thailand, Burma, Laos, Vietnam, Madagascar, Tanzania and Haiti.

Hayfork Cooperative meeting and special presentation
We have a very special uplifting presentation for this season of inspiration and reflecting on the light — ‘returning’ of the sun, and on peace, love, joy, all those good things! And it will be brought to us by two very supportive members of Hayfork Cooperative: Patricia Morrison and Claudia Bird.
