Vibrant emerald green grass, pink and white masses filling flowering trees, yellow and orange blossoms bursting from bushes, bulbs pushing up their multicolored contributions to this colorful banner of Spring’s full-on arrival. Time to plan and plant our food and flower gardens. Hayfork Cooperative is here to help, with three veteran long-time Hayfork Valley gardeners having lots of ‘how-to’ experience. They will pass out helpful information, lists, charts, and books to show. Plus YOU! Come with your knowledge, experiences and questions to make this a worthwhile, informative end enjoyable evening.
Whether you are a first time gardener, or have been a long time student of growing gardens, all are welcome and encouraged to participate. The time is Wednesday, April 19th, 7 pm. The place is Northern Delights Coffeehouse, 7091 State Highway 3, Hayfork, which the owners, the Lanzisere Family, contribute for free for Hayfork Cooperative meetings on behalf of the Hayfork community. Growing food and beauty is challenging and most rewarding. Get your exercise while providing wholesome sustenance and uplifting beauty for your family, friends and yourself. And better connect with your earthly home and the endless wonders it offers.
