Regular Meeting: Herbal Medicinals

Date:
Wednesday, April 18, 2018 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Christina Johnson of Wild Mountain Herbs, is a local businesswoman who grows, processes and sells herbal products regionally. She will be speaking at the Hayfork Cooperative, April 18, 2018 from 7-9 PM at Northern Delights Coffeehouse, 7091 State Highway 3, in downtown Hayfork.

Christina Johnson has 30 years experience growing and using herbs in Trinity County. She has been studying with the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism for the last 2 years. She will be sharing a lot of new health and herbal information she has gained from her studies. She will also cover how to plan and grow a medicinal herb garden, including a description of her no-till method that works very well in the Trinity’s mountains. She will discuss several herbs that grow easily here in Trinity and their uses as well as harvest and processing methods. Christina will bring herbal starts for sale. This is a free event open to the public. We hope you can make it.
